'The Omen' remake on the way

John Moore is to direct a remake of The Omen for 20th Century Fox.
The Flight of the Phoenix director will helm The Omen 666, a remake of the 1976 Richard Donner classic in which Gregory Peck and Lee Remick found that their son Damien was the personification of the Antichrist.
Variety reports that Dan McDermott has penned a contemporary script for the remake.
