According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film, which marks the directorial debut for Cloverfield screenwriter Drew Goddard, will be pushed to a later release date due to the uncertainty surrounding the future of its studio.
Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Connolly, Anna Hutchison, Amy Acker and Jesse Williams are among the cast for Cabin In The Woods, which was initially due for release on February 5 this year.
Last week, it was reported that MGM's Red Dawn remake was stuck in release limbo, while the latest James Bond movie and The Hobbit have also been put on hold until MGM resolves its solvency issues.
