Alexander Skarsgard boards 'Battleship'

The True Blood actor will play the naval officer brother of Taylor Kitsch's character Alex Hopper, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Peter Berg is directing the movie based on the Hasbro board game. The story centres on an international fleet that comes into contact with an extra-terrestrial foe.
Skarsgard has movie roles lined up in the Straw Dogs remake and Lars von Trier's Melancholia.
