Jimmy Carr to star as MI6 agent

Jimmy Carr has landed himself a film role opposite Ewan McGregor.

The comedian will play an MI6 agent in new thriller Stormbreaker. The story, which follows teenage spy Alex Rider, is based on several books by Anthony Horowitz.

Of his role, the funnyman told The Mirror: “I get cast because I’m something between Hugh Grant and Mr Bean – obviously closer to Mr Bean in the looks department.???

Hollywood stars Bill Nighy, Alicia Silverstone and Sophie Okonedo are also on the cast.
