Russell Crowe is in talks with Fox 2000 to join Ridley Scott's A Good Year, Variety reports.
The script was written by Marc Klein (Serendipity) and then rewritten by Ted Griffin and Jez and Tom Butterworth based on a novel of the same name by Pater Mayle.
A Good Year will tell the story of an investment banker who loses his job and moves to Provence to inherit his late uncle's vineyard. The situation becomes confused when an unknown American cousin appears.
