Marcia Gay Harden has joined the cast of Paul Weitz's American Dreams, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The actress, who won an Oscar for her performance in 2000's Pollock, will play first lady to Dennis Quaid's president. Willem Dafoe will play vice president Sutter, whilst other names appearing include Hugh Grant, Mandy Moore and Richard Dreyfuss.
Paul and Chris Weitz will produce along with Andrew Miano.
