John Landis to head 'Show Dogs'

John Landis has agreed to direct Show Dogs for New Line Cinema, says Variety.
The movie, penned by Mike Bender, will tell the story of a homeless Jack Russell who is propelled from the gutter to the stardom of dog shows.
Landis is also working on Deer Woman ( an episode of TV's Masters of Horror), Bat Boy and Epic Proportions. His past credits include Coming To America and The Blues Brothers.
