Marvel Studios has reportedly hired two writers to pen its upcoming Dr. Strange feature film.

According to Deadline, Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer, the duo behind the new Conan movie, have been tapped to adapt the comic book for the big screen.

The screenwriting partners are also adapting video game Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and have penned a draft of Cowboys and Aliens for director Jon Favreau.

Stan Lee and Steve Ditko created the character of Dr. Strange in 1963.

The film will mark the first Marvel Studios movie distributed by Disney.
