Adaptation of Kerouac's 'On The Road'

The Motorcycle Diaries helmer Walter Salles will direct a movie adaptation of Jack Kerouac's classic novel On The Road, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Kerouac's 1957 novel followed his alter ego on his trip around America as he met fellow travellers in a voyage of discovery.
Diaries' screenwriter Jose Rivera and executive producer Rebecca Yeldham are also aboard the project.
