Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot) has signed up to appear in Clint Eastwood's World War II drama Flags Of Our Fathers.
Based upon the book Flags of Our Fathers: Heroes of Iwo Jima by James Bradley and Ron Powers, the story is told from the point of view of Bradley, who learns about his father's heroism in the campaign against Japan.
Also appearing in the movie are Ryan Phillippe, Paul Haggis, Jesse Bradford, Adam Beach, Neal McDonough and Paul Walker.
Bell can be seen in Dear Wendy, released today.
