The film, scripted by Frost/Nixon writer Peter Morgan, examines sexual morals between different social classes, reports Deadline.
The movie will feature various characters having sexual encounters in and outside of their own social class.
Morgan's script was reportedly inspired by Austrian playwright Arthur Schnitzler's play Reigen, which was first produced in 1900. The production has been adapted for a number of films, including the 1950 French drama La Ronde.
Meirelles's films include City of God and The Constant Gardener.
