Elijah Wood happy with low-budget films
Elijah Wood has revealed that he loves working on low-budget movies.

The actor thinks that shorter productions and edgier roles provide a much-needed change after working on blockbusters such as Lord of the Rings.

"Everything's a rebound role after Lord Of The Rings," Wood told Empire.

"After being a part of something so massive, on that scale, my interest was to move completely away from anything that big - which isn't that difficult to do, because movies of that scale don't come around often.

"But I certainly wanted to focus on smaller films and more intimate stories, just things that interest me more and take less time."
