Halle Berry has been promised that she will play a much bigger part in X-Men 3.
The actress complained that her character, Storm, had been given little to do in the previous comic book adaptations.
However, co-writer Zak Penn thinks that Berry will be pleased by what is in store for Storm in the next film.
"As one of the writers of the last film, I'd say it's true she ended up with mostly exposition and plane-flying," Penn told V Life magazine.
"X3 has a couple of big twists, and Storm is right in the centre of them.
"The fact that Halle is a very good actress who was underused compounds the wish for her to have a better role."
