'Twilight' actress 'wears wig in Eclipse'

Twilight actress Bryce Dallas Howard has revealed that she had to wear a wig in the new movie.

The star, who takes over the role of Victoria from Rachelle Lefevre in Eclipse, told WENN that she thought she had upset producers on her first day.

"I think I flew out on a Monday or Tuesday to go and do the role. That Friday [before] I had dyed my hair really dark. My natural hair colour is kind of like an orange red, which is what's depicted in the book," she said.

"When I showed up, they [producers] were like, 'This is not the girl we hired!' Shooting had to start pretty quickly, so I wore a wig."

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse opens in UK cinemas on July 9.
