Weinsteins buy right to 'Panic'

Bob and Harvey Weinstein have bought the rights to Jeff Abbott's new novel, Panic, reports Variety.
The book tells the story of Evan Casher, a documentary-maker who is pursued by a spy ring after his mother's murder and finds that his life has been based on lies.
Abbott is best known for his 'Whit Mosely' mystery novels.
