Disney plans live-action 'Aladdin'

Walt Disney Pictures has picked up Bill Kelly's pitch for a modern-day Aladdin feature, reports Variety.
Adam Shankman (The Pacifier) will produce along with his Offspring Entertainment colleague Jennifer Gibgot and Sunil Perkash who developed the story with Kelly.
Shankman is also in the running to direct the live-action pic.
