Pacino stars in crime remake

Al Pacino has agreed to star in a remake of French crime movie Rififi.
The reworking of the 1955 picture will be directed by Harold Becker, who previously worked with Pacino on Sea of Love and City Hall.
Jules Dassin helmed the original, following a thief who plans a jewellery store heist after finding that his wife had left him during his stay in jail.
