Ryan Phillippe and Chris Cooper will star in espionage thriller Breach, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Based on a true story, the film focuses on federal agent Eric O'Neill (Phillippe) who is headhunted to work for notorious agent Robert Hanssen (Cooper) in a new division set up to protect classified FBI intelligence. However, the young agent soon finds that the veteran may not be all he seems.
Billy Ray is directing for Universal Pictures.
