The Strike Entertainment and Universal Pictures project is based on a book by P.D. James set in the near future in a time when humans have lost the ability to procreate. When the youngest person on Earth (an 18-year-old) dies, Clive Owen must protect the last remaining pregnant female from harm.
Julianne Moore has also been confirmed for the movie, which is planning a September 29, 2006 release.
