Elizabeth Banks for live-action Tinkerbell

Banks and Max Handelman hatched the idea for the movie, which is based on J. M. Barrie's mischievous fairy from Peter Pan.
Elizabeth Wright Shapiro will pen the script, while Adam Shankman, Jennifer Gibgot and McG are attached in producer roles.
Banks's upcoming movies include The Next Three Days with Russell Crowe, The Details with Tobey Maguire and Paul Rudd comedy My Idiot Brother.
