According to the Los Angeles Times, Ratner is in talks to helm a new action-adventure tale about the legendary character for producer Avi Lerner (The Expendables).
The movie is still in the early development stage. No casting choices have been announced.
Ratner also directed X-Men: The Last Stand and Red Dragon.
