Harry Potter's Katie Leung has denied making comments about being the victim of internet hate sites.
The actress makes her film debut in the next movie, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, as Cho Chang, a love interest for Harry.
Leung was quoted by Good Housekeeping as saying, "I never expected the hate sites that popped up on the internet after I got the part in the film. I couldn’t understand why people were so angry."
However, Katie has told Scotland Today, "I don't know where people are getting it from because it's not true at all. I've been on the internet but there's nothing there.
"I mean, I don't receive hate mail or anything like that, I get a lot of fan mail, and they're so encouraging and supportive. I don't know where it comes from."
