DreamWorks train 'Kung Fu Panda'

DreamWorks Animation is creating an animated tale about a heroic panda, reports Variety.

Kung Fu Panda will star Jack Black as the voice of a panda who is prophesied to save the Valley of Peace.

John Stevenson and Mark Osborne will direct from a screenplay by Dan Harmon and Rob Schrab, with Melissa Cobb producing.

Last week the studio announced plans to release a Madagascar sequel.
