Carrey and Schumacher to reteam
Published Thursday, Sep 22 2005, 09:50 BST | By Daniel Saney
Jim Carrey and Joel Schumacher are in negotiations over The Number 23 for New Line, reports Variety.
Penned by Fernley Phillips, the movie would see Carrey star as a man who becomes terrified upon reading a book which appears to be telling the story of his life until its muderous ending. The number '23' is relevantly scattered around the plot.
Schumacher last directed Carrey in the unfortunate Batman Forever. Their new project is slated to start filming in November.
