Michael Douglas film to be remade

20th Century Fox, Hyde Park Entertainment and producers Matthew Baer and Frank Spotnitz are joining forces to remake The Star Chamber, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The 1983 original starred Michael Douglas as a disillusioned judge who is frustrated that he frequently has to let criminals run free thanks to various legal loopholes. Deciding that enough is enough, he joins a secret society of judges who decide to take the law into their own hands.
