Radha Mitchell (Melinda And Melinda) is in negotiations to join The Flock, Andrew Lau's upcoming thriller, Production Weekly reports.

Written by Hans Bauer and Craig Mitchell, the story focuses on a federal agent (Richard Gere) who is training his young female replacement (Claire Danes) whilst they try to track down a missing girl suspected of being connected to a paroled sex offender.

Production is due to begin mid-November in New Mexico.
