Earp: Saints For Sinners is based on Matt Cirulnick and David Manpearl's Radical graphic novel and features Earp, his two brothers and Doc Holliday taking on outlaws in a ravaged futuristic society, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Cirulnick will pen the screenplay for the project.
Earp, famous for his 1881 Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, has been the subject of several feature films, including Kurt Russell's Tombstone and Kevin Costner's Wyatt Earp.
Raimi is next expected to work on Disney's Wizard Of Oz prequel Oz, The Great And Powerful.
