Hayden Panettiere: 'I love Scream 4 role'

Hayden Panettiere has rubbished rumours of problems on the set of Scream 4.

The film, currently being shot, will see Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courtney Cox reprise their original roles alongside a new cast including Panettiere and Emma Roberts.

Rumours of problems began after creator Kevin Williamson was allegedly replaced as screenwriter and Lake Bell pulled out of the film citing scheduling conflicts.

The Heroes actress told Access Hollywood that reports of arguments are "untrue" and that she is having a "really good time" on set.

"I don't know whether it's somebody projecting or, who knows where it came from, but ultimately it was very untrue and I love my character," she said. "I'm having a really good time doing it. It's a really great cast."

The 20-year-old also praised director Wes Craven as an "amazing human being" and "nice guy".

She added: "It is such a pleasure to work with him... you can feel the crews at ease. They're able to have fun - it's not like twisting their arm to come to work.

"They actually really, really enjoy it, so it's been a blast thus far."
