Simon Pegg wanted for 'The Boys' role

Based on Garth Ennis and Darrick Robertson's Wildstorm/Dynamite story, it centres on the exploits of a squad of CIA agents who watch over superheroes who step out of line. The character of Hugh Campbell is based on Pegg.
"I haven't officially signed on yet, so I haven't had any conversations with anyone, but he's [Pegg] got to do it. It has to be," McKay told CHUD.
McKay's next film The Other Guys, starring Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, opens in cinemas later this summer.
