Zellweger signs up to horror remake

Renee Zellweger has signed up for a remake of Hong Kong horror The Eye, The Hollywood Reporter has revealed.
Directed by Hideo Nakata (the Ring films), the movie will tell the story of a woman who goes into hospital for a cornea transplant but then rather than seeing the world as everyone else she is plagued by the unwelcome visions belonging to the previous owner.
The film will be produced by Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner under their C/W Productions banner.
Yesterday it was reported that the actress would be starring in a biopic of author Beatrix Potter.
