'Gnomes!' to be brought to life
Published Tuesday, Oct 4 2005, 11:18 BST | By Daniel Saney
Vanguard Films have acquired Gnomes!, a feature comedy written by Micah Herman and Kyle Newman, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story will centre on a boy who finds that his garden gnomes are, in fact, alive. He then seeks his new friends' help when he gets the impression that his mother's new love interest is actually a gnome-eating troll.
It is uncertain as yet as to whether the feature will be animated, live-action or a combination of the two.
Vanguard's John Williams (Valiant; Shrek) will produce, whilst Herman and Newman are slated to direct.
