Roland Emmerich envisions '10,000 B.C.'

Roland Emmerich (The Day After Tomorrow) has signed on to direct 10,000 B.C., reports Variety.
Written by Emmerich and Harald Kloser, the film will follow three stages of development of primitive man through focusing on a 21-year-old man whose tribe hunts mammoth during the herd's annual migration.
Kloser will provide the soundtrack and will executive produce along with Tom Karnowski.
Filming is set to begin in February in Africa.
