DreamWorks visit 'Last Town on Earth'

Robert Rodat will adapt Thomas Mullen's novel 'The Last Town on Earth' for DreamWorks Pictures, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The book is set in 1918 and focuses on the lives of the inhabitants of a small mill town where the local doctor imposes a quarantine on the residents in order to avoid a widespread outbreak of the Spanish influenza.
Rodat's previous credits include The Patriot, Olympia and Saving Private Ryan for which he received an Oscar nomination.
