Martin Freeman will appear alongside Gwyneth Paltrow and Simon Pegg in The Good Night, according to Variety.
The $15 million movie will focus on a man's search for perfection in an imperfect world. Freeman will play a former pop star relegated to writing marketing jingles in the midst of a mid-life crisis. Paltrow and Pegg will appear in supporting roles.
Gwyneth's brother, Jake Paltrow is to direct from his own screenplay. Donna Gigliotti is producing.
Filming begins in London on November 7, with some shooting in New York, where the picture is set, scheduled for January.
