Ratner to bring comic 'Unknowns' to cinemas

Brett Ratner has reportedly acquired the rights to Femme Fatales Comics series The Unknowns.

The Rush Hour director will produce the comic book adaptation under his Rat Entertainment banner, according to Variety.

The comic centres on Alexis Davenport, a woman who discovers that she used to head up a black ops team. She goes on a quest to learn who erased her memory.

Mark Altman, Steve Kriozere and model/actress Monica Olsen created the series.

A cast and director for the project have not yet been announced.
