The Desperate Housewives star was rumoured to be co-starring in the upcoming Marvel project as Avenger The Wasp.
However, sources close to the production told Gossip Cop that the rumours about Longoria Parker joining the movie's cast are untrue.
Director Joss Whedon announced the film's cast last weekend at the San Diego Comic-Con. It will feature Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man), Clark Gregg (S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Coulson), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Chris Evans (Captain America), Sam Jackson (Nick Fury), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/The Hulk).
