Michael Bay snaps up low buget sci-fi

Michael Bay will produce a low-budget extra-terrestrial abduction movie for Paramount, says The Hollywood Reporter.

The plotline for the science fiction film is being kept under wraps, with the movie being referred to as 'Confidential Alien Project'.

Bobby Glickhert wrote a treatment and produced a two-minute teaser to secure a deal for the film. His pitch is now going out to screenwriters to shape into a script.

Bay, who is currently working on Transformers 3, will produce alongside his Platinum Dunes partners Brad Fuller and Andrew Form.
