Orlando Bloom wants low profile roles

Orlando Bloom has announced that he wants to start working on some low-key movie and theatre roles.

The Lord of the Rings star thinks that he still has a lot to learn about acting, and wants to take a step back from Hollywood to discover the basics.

He told Teen Hollywood, "I've got a lot to learn and I think I need to go back and do some theatre and some smaller movie roles where I can keep learning my craft without the weight of a huge production hanging over me."

"On a big movie time is so precious and is not something you are afforded the luxury of. I would like the opportunity to have time to create characters."
