Skip Woods will write the screenplay to the movie adaptation of video game Hitman, Variety reports.
The popular game franchise from Eidos puts the player in the suit of mysterious assassin 'Agent 47', to be played by Vin Diesel in the film. Using stealth, cunning and ruthlessness, the killer must complete a number of missions against various targets.
Studio 20th Century Fox are apparently looking to make the film the first in a franchise. Meanwhile, Eidos are planning an addition to their own franchise, with Hitman: Blood Money on the way the winter.
