A military officer guarding the Miami Vice crew in the Dominican Republic has been involved in a shooting.
The officer shot a 44 year-old man in the side after he approached the crew with a pistol and fired several shots. He is in a stable condition in hospital.
The Dominican Government has condemned the incident - "The this type of act affects our image," said culture minister Jose Rafael Lantigua.
Director Michael Mann's Miami Vice, staring Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx, is set for release in summer 2006.
