Nigel Cole to helm 'Strange Son'

Nigel Cole (A Lot Like Love; Calendar Girls) has signed on to helm Strange Son for Revolution Studios, Variety has revealed.
Scripted by Bruce Joel Rubin and based on a book by Portia Iverson about her relationship with her son Dov, the film tells the true story of a woman's efforts to communicate with her autistic son.
Whilst researching autism, she came across a woman in India who introduced her to a successful communication technique for Portia and Dov.
