Gerard Depardieu has announced that he has "stopping filming...leaving."
The Oscar-nominated actor told Le Parisien Dimanche that he has decided that he has "nothing to lose...nothing left to prove."
Depardieu has worked on 170 different films, mainly made in France, with the most notable titles including Cyrano de Bergerac and Le Tartuffe.
His agent, Claude Davy, said that Depardieu has been saying the same thing for a decade and that he would likely just slow down his acting career, perhaps indulging in other pastimes.
