Romero's 'Day of the Dead' to be remade
Published Tuesday, Nov 1 2005, 13:03 GMT | By Daniel Saney
Day of the Dead is set to be remade by Millennium Films and Emmett/Furla Films.
According to Variety, Steve Miner (Lake Placid; Halloween H20) will direct the picture from a screenplay by Jeffrey Reddick (Final Destination).
The 1985 original, written and directed by horror talent George Romero, centres on a group of scientists and military personnel who have sought refuge in an underground bunker in a world overrun with the undead. Naturally it is only a matter of time before the zombies find their way in.
