Witherspoon develops 'The Reckoning'

Reese Witherspoon is developing thriller The Reckoning under Type A films as a possible starring vehicle with Paramount Pictures.
Scripted by Ted Tally (Red Dragon; The Silence of the Lambs) in an adaptation of a novel by Jeff Long, the story centres on a photojournalist who travels to Cambodia to report on a military search for the body of a U.S. soldier shot down during the Vietnam conflict.
The Hollywood Reporter states that the studio are currently in search of a director for the project.
