'Hostage'
The plot centres on a shipment of illegal firearms and a double homicide from the differing points of view of criminals, police and lawyers, all with diverging agendas. Willis will portray Earl Pike, a criminal who must secure his family's gun collection.
Black Water Transit, based on Carsten Stroud's novel, will mark the feature directorial debut of Samuel Bayer, a music video director perhaps best-known for Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit.
Christopher Eberts, Kia Jam and Arnold Rifkin are producing the adaptation penned by Doug Richardson (Hostage).
Three more pivotal roles will be cast in the near future, in preparation for a March start.
