Landis develops superhero film 'Chronicles'

Filmmaker John Landis has signed to produce and develop a new superhero film called Chronicles.
Landis and his son Maz are writing the script for the Fox project, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Josh Trank is attached to direct.
The movie will be a faux documentary shot with a handheld camera and follow three Portland teenagers who learn they have superpowers.
Landis is the director behind the hits An American Werewolf in London, Coming to America and The Blues Brothers.
