'Chicken Little' takes top spot

Animated adventure Chicken Little enjoyed its debut weekend at the top of the US box office chart this weekend.
Featuring the voices of Zach Braff, Steve Zahn and Joan Cusack, the family movie follows a young chicken's attempt to save the world. Taking $40.1m, Chicken Little opened safely ahead of the weekend's other new entry, Jarhead.
Meanwhile, both George Clooney's Good Night, and Good Luck and Steve Martin's Shopgirl rose to the top ten thanks to exposure on twice as many screens as they had previously enjoyed.
