Universal Pictures expect 'Turbulence'

Universal Pictures have acquired drama pitch Turbulence from writer Tom Pabst, according to Variety.
The plot will focus on a bored L.A. pilot who finds a new interest in his life when he stumbles upon a conspiracy over the course of several trips to Tokyo. Becoming obsessed with the conspiracy, he soon commits a crime sending him into the arms of a beautiful woman and the depths of the Tokyo underworld.
Mirage's Sydney Pollack and Anthony Minghella will produce.
