Brody, Cruz in bullfighter biopic

Variety reports that Adrien Brody and Penelope Cruz have signed up to star in Manolete, a film about renowned matador Manuel Rodriguez Sanchez.
Directed by Menno Meyjes from his own script, the movie will centre on the bullfighter's love affair with actress Lupe Sino in the 1940s until he was killed in the ring in 1947.
Brody is to visit Spain to work with a matador in preparation for the role, whilst production is set to begin on March 21.
