'Casanova' team adapt Twain novel

Mark Gordon and Jeffrey Hatcher, producer and screenwriter of Casanova are to adapt Mark Twain's The Prince and the Pauper.
Set in 1547, the classic story depicts events occurring when two identical boys, a prince and a pauper, accidentally replace each other.
According to Variety, the filmmakers are aiming to give the production the same feel as Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.
